Why Circular Seattle? Why Georgetown? And what's with the /G\?
It would be easy to say while proposing the idea for Circular Cities / A Global World Fair Event that Seattle has become a hot-bed for innovation, because wherever we look we can see the evidence of the new world collapsing the old. The struggle between what once was and what wants to be is in constant flux. To help guide us along this journey towards re-imagining our built environment in a post-carbon world lets take a moment to reflect upon one of the worlds greatest (Re)mission statements:
“Make the world work, for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone.”

One of the greatest challenges we face in a warming world is sea-level rise, it is imperative that we begin the hard work needed for the restoration of the landscapes most vulnerable to the effects of a changing climate through planned retreat, rapid de-industrialization, and the remediation of toxic soil.
